The wallpaper - our inspiration

Our inspiration for this bathroom was this stunning black and white wallpaper - the strong geometric design is the focal point of this bathroom. We have softened the lines by choosing counter-top oval basins. The vanities are kept very simple and in pure white with a single faucet.

We went for a contrast in colour and lines here - strong geometric wallpaper and soft curvy basins.

The bath tub with a view

If you had a view like this, then a bath tub right at the window is a must. Once again we choose a very simple design and the tub sits on beautiful hexagonal marble floor tiles with a delicate vein. This subtle veining repeats our black and white colour scheme without competing with the wallpaper.

Charcoal walls

Monochromatic colour schemes can sometimes be stark, that is why we have chosen to paint the back wall in a charcoal colour and not completely black. This softens the feel of the bathroom and creates the perfect backdrop for art - the white in the art just pops!

Create that balance

In this design we have repeated many elements to create balance - the double vanity is flanked by black sconces and the design of the vanity and its drawers repeats our pattern of twos. As there is no other storage in this bathroom, the vanity drawers has be functional and aesthetically pleasing too,
